Name: Kali WildermuthPosition: Activities Assistant Length of Service: One year and 10 months Kali usually has a smile on her face and a laugh in her pocket. She works well with other departments, welcomes new employees and most everyone knows who she is!! The residents enjoy Kali and she takes the extra time to get to know the residents and their particular needs. She is not afraid to get involved weather it be carrying a pig to each resident room or modeling at the mother daughter dinner. Kali is always willing to try new things with the residents and problem solve as necessary. Kali pitches in and works extra shifts as the need arises without complaints. Thanks Kali for being a valued part of our team.

Name: Barb GoblePosition: Laundry Aide Length of Service: 6 months Barb was nominated by her Supervisor and other Department Heads for making a great impact on the laundry department. There have not been any complaints of no linens; she is very consistent with her work. Has a good personality and interacts with residents very well.
Favorite Sports Team: : St. louis Cardinals Name: Sharon Westfall Position: STNA Length of Service: 5 years and 9 months Reason they won Employee of the Month: Sharon was nominated by her co-workers because “She is very kind and caring, and always willing to lend a hand, her residents needs come first to her! “Great Co-Worker” She is also known for doing her job thorough and always with a smile. Has great attendance and attitude and we are lucky to have her on our team!!
Favorite Sports Team: : Pittsburgh Steelers and her hometown “Anna Rockets” Name: Teresa Hughes Position: STNA Length of Service: 7 months Reason they won Employee of the Month:She was nominated by her co-workers on third shift and Supervisors because she is very kind and passionate to the residents. Always willing to help in anyway she can. A discharged resident Commented on the extra special kindness and care she was given to her by Teresa. Her co-workers feel she is a very hard worker and they love working with her!
Favorite Sports Team: Ohio State Buckeyes Name: Denise Swiger Position: STNA Length of Service: 8 years Reason they won Employee of the Month:Denise works in our Dementia unit. Her devotion to our residents is only one of the reasons she was nominated. She is extremely caring and very compassionate towards our residents. To say she goes above and beyond the call of duty is an understatement. Denise has great rapport with the families and she consistently looks for ways to improve the quality of life for the folks she cares for. A big thank you to Denise for being a fantastic example of how an STNA should conduct themselves!!!!

Name: Samantha Menke Position: Residential Activities Coordinator Length of Service: 10 Months Reason they won Employee of the Month:Sam was nominated because of her good-heartedness and willingness to go above and beyond. Sam is always finding new ways to engage the Residential residents in fun activities that also utilize their independent living skills. The residents enjoy the outings that Sam plans for them and look forward to the time that they have to spend with her. Sam is constantly eager to help out throughout the whole facility at Heritage in any way that she can. She also spends her time off of work doing things for the facility. She has been a true asset to the Residential Unit since her hire with new ideas and programs for our residents. We greatly appreciate everything that Sam brings to Heritage!
Favorite Sports Team: Samantha says: “GO BUCKS!” Her local favorite team is her hometown Rangers of New Knoxville. Name: Carol Ferguson Position: Medical Records Length of Service: 1 Year Reason they won Employee of the Month: Carol was chosen by the nursing staff because she is so efficient at her job. She always has the nurses stations filled with the correct forms and they are never out of anything, and when asked to research something, she does it in a timely manner and doesn’t keep anyone waiting. Carol is also diversified; she is the back up to Central Supply and also assists with the front desk in answering the phone.
Favorite Sports Team: Michigan Name: Jenn Shurelds Position: LPN – Residential Unit Length of Service: 4 Years Reason they won Employee of the Month: Jenn was nominated by her co-workers and Supervisors not only for the outstanding job she does as a nurse but all the extras she does for the facility. She helps with all the blood pressure clinics, is very talented when it comes to arts and crafts, she spent hours on the Octoberfest float, on her own time, which won our facility the top award. Jenn has a great personality, and everyone enjoys working with her.

Name: Paula CoxPosition: DSA - Residential Unit Length of Service: 10 Months Reason they won Employee of the Month: Paula was nominated by her co-workers and Supervisors for her Ňhuge heartÓ. She cares about the residents and her co-workers, always has a positive attitude and works with a smile. She goes above and beyond when it comes to the need of the residents; she has stayed with residents after they have had a surgery on her own time just to make them not be afraid.

Name: Jodi HarveyPosition: LPN Length of Service: 4 years Reason they won Employee of the Month: Jodi is the resident's number 1 advocate, always looking to improve their care. Jodi has had a very trying year, her fiance was in a serious car accident but she still came to work everyday gave a 100% and always was willing to pick up extra hours when needed.
Favorite Sports Team: Cleveland Browns Name: Phyllis Brown Position: Cook Length of Service: 9 years
Reason they won Employee of the Month: Is very dependable and friendly. The resident’s needs come first and is always willing to lend a helping hand. According to her co-workers, she has a fun attitude and they like working with her. She also has excellent attendance and punctuality. 
Name: Tim OwensPosition: Housekeeping Aide Length of Service: 7 Months
Reason they won Employee of the Month: Is a very conscientious employee, seeing all the extra things that need to be done throughout each day. He is comfortable with the residents, taking time to talk to them answering their questions. Has excellent attendance and willing to pick up extra shifts. 
Name: Marsha YaneyPosition: Laundry Aide Length of Service: 7 Years
Reason they won Employee of the Month: Marsha is a huge asset to the Environmental Service Department, she has excellent attendance and always punctual. She is always willing to cover any shift when short and she also helps with orientation of new staff members in the laundry area. The Nursing Department has commended her for keeping the lines stocked at all times and is friendly and caring to our Residents. 
Name: Candy DickersonPosition: STNA Length of Service: 7 Months Reason they won Employee of the Month: She was nominated by her co-workers because she is jam packed with energy. She is the definition of teamwork. Never refuses to lend a hand to her co workers. In her busy life with her sons, she still finds time to pick up extra hours to help out our residents. She always comes to work with a smile.

Name: Kelly EilermanPosition: STNA Length of Service: 7 months Reason they won Employee of the Month: Has excellent attendance, always willing to go that extra mile to help someone out. Always the first to volunteer to stay over and help another shift out if they are short handed. Very pleasant personality, and is enjoyed by residents, families and other staff members.

Name: Theresa KremerPosition: Activities Assistant Length of Service: 1 year Reason they won Employee of the Month: She is very dependable, had perfect attendance last year. Also very conscientious and quietly goes thru the facility and makes the Residents feel good about themselves. She can do "silly" things when appropriate during an activity to make the Residents smile.

Name: Erica PaynePosition: LPN Length of Service: 1.2 years Reason they won Employee of the Month: She was nominated by her co-workers for always helping out the STNA's when they need that extra pair of hands. She is also a problem solver and is always offering suggestions on how to do things better. She is always on top of things when she is in charge of a Unit.

Name: Jodi BallPosition: DSA - Direct Support Associate - Residential Unit Length of Service: 6 yrs Reason they won Employee of the Month: Jodie leads by example and provides orientation to many of our new staff members. Jodie is always willing to provide an extra hand, picking up hours when needed and helping others out. She is very dependable and compassionate about her work. She enjoys taking the residents on outings and volunteers her fishing equipment for them to use in the summer. Some of the Residential Residents even call her "the mother" of the unit. Jodie's co-workers respect Jodie's insight and assistance. Jodie has a big heart and we are proud to have her as a member of our team on the Residential Unit.

Kristina AldoraQMRP: Qualified Mental Retardation Professional 1.5 yrs of Service Kristina was nominated for various reasons; her loyalty and caring to the residents is her true asset. She not only writes and evaluates programs for the residents; she also assists the aides when they need help and is always willing to help out in nursing home when there is a need. She is a true team player at Heritage Manor!
